1. Download the plugin DynDNS.zip

2. Unzip and copy and paste the folder dyndns to your Xtrend receiver in /usr/lib/enigma2/python/Plugins/Extensions.

Alternatively, you can download the plugin from the plugin feed (Menu -> Plugins -> Download Plugins -> Extensions -> DynDns)

3. Setup an account at

https://www.dyndns.com/account/services/hosts/add.html

You can get a free trial for 14 days.

You must create a username, password, and dyndns server address which is linked to you private network.

4. Go to Menu -> Plugins -> DynDns and enter the dyndns url you have just created and the username & password.

5. Your network router needs to be linked to your ET10000's IP address.

Open the HTTP Port 80 and HTTP Port 8001 of your ET10000's IP Address.

Protocol: TCP or UDP

6. On your VLC Media player or any other media player of your PC or mobile device which is capable of playing a network stream, enter following address to stream TV or Radio from your Xtrend receiver into the media streaming application's address:

http://xtrend.dyndns.com:8001/1:0:1:445C:453:1:C00000:0:0:0:

xtrend.dyndns.com is the dyndns url you just created in instruction 3.

8001 is the HTTP port you have opened for Streaming

1:0:1:445C:453:1:C00000:0:0:0: is the Service Reference of the currently set transponder of your Xtrend receiver, which you can find under Menu -> Information -> Service -> Service Reference

I use this method to stream TV channels from my Xtrend receiver, which is at home, to my Samsung Galaxy Note 2 via 3G when I am outside.

It will work with sd channels. no transcoding is needed.

4G is recommended for SD channel streaming.

3G, you might encounter some problems

Dyndns account is good choice but of course you can simply use a ip address of your network
And one more observation this method is what betatester are using now to test transcoding, a improved app with many feature and a simply user friendly interface will be available soon, transcoding will be supported in openxta image soon.
